The latest in wedding catering
Having catered for hundreds of weddings, the team at As You Like It Catering have noticed a trend towards more relaxed, social styled weddings where the menus focus is on a variety of fresh and tasty food. Cocktail/ finger food functions are a great way to get guests mingling and had allowed for the introduction of cocktail style dessert options including petit fours and individual brulee spoons.
Another popular trend is cupcakes with a top cake for the cutting ceremony. Cupcakes look fantastic and can be coloured and styled to fit in with the theme for your wedding. You are also able to cater to dietary requriemtns with 'gluten free' options.
Its always an idea to so something novelty at your wedding. This creates interests and will have your guests talking. A chocolate fountain is another dessert option that many couples select alongside their wedding cake. Belgian chocolate fountains look and taste fantastic and come in a range of sizes depending on the number of guests at your wedding.
We are keen to hear what creative, new food ideas you have seen at a wedding...
